Gyrojet 13mm Bullet

My rendition of the 1960s Gyrojet rocket bullet.
I initially made this as a simple warmup geometry study, but I ended up doing some experimentation with LODs. I wanted to get correct looking normal bakes across multiple LODs using a single texture set. It effectively involves baking certain regions of the high poly in multiple locations to avoid having incorrect normals on the lower LODs.
The method I used does sacrifice some UV space, however there was enough unused UV space where it wasn't an issue for this specific asset.
Since I was concerning myself with the bake so much, I also spent a bit of extra time nailing the texturing for this asset.

I used a separate mesh when baking/texturing to stand in for areas that are flat on the lower LODs. An extra edge loop also could have been saved around the rim on the lower lods at the cost of a lower overall texel density.
